Brien spent 22 years teaching High School Social Studies and coaching community and high school sports. He served as a department chairperson. He was a union vice president.
Brien helps students, teachers, and administrators who face disciplinary action, who are confronted with bullying or harassment, or who need qualified representation to advocate for their rights at the local school district or state Board of Education level.
In his first case as an attorney, Brien successfully appealed an eligibility ruling by the Ohio High School Athletic Association. Since then, he has represented clients before school and central office administration, Boards of Education, and Common Pleas Court.
There are often time limitations for appealing school decisions, so it is important to understand how to guarantee your rights as soon as possible. Having an Attorney on your side who understands how schools work is the best first step toward protecting yourself or your student.
